The VisionReaching His People through Evangelism and Compassion.
We are a Holy Spirit filled ministry; called and sent by God, to reach the lost, the bound and the grieved through evangelism and compassion. We are dedicated to share the gospel to the lost, share the power of God to the bound or needy and to assist families during times of grief and hardships. All though the above three missions are our focus, we are available to go wherever God is calling us to minister. We firmly believe that there is a 4 fold ministry for The Church (body of Christ); worship, evangelize, disciple and compassion, we will strive to bring these areas to the ministry God called us ALL for. Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth"
Separation hurts. "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)."Ephesians 2:4-5
Our MissionSee exactly how we accomplish our goals.
1: Market Evangelism
Currently we own and operate a service-based business that allows us to meet a lot of people at very different stages of life in the comfort of their own home. During visits, we try to engage everyone in conversation about our Lord or to where the Holy Spirit guides the conversations. God is seeking His lost and needy through our business. Romans 10:14-15 "How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"2: Power of God
This is also related to our service-based business, but certainly not limited to. During all encounters which are prompted by the Holy Spirit, we boldly engage whomever and wherever for prayer requests. 1 John 5:4-5 "for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God"3: Compassion
We are called to pick up where Jacob left off, that is called to serve God’s people. Jacob touched many lives through his gift of cooking to which he was on a path of great servanthood when he was killed in a tragic accident at the age of 21, May 4th 2021.. This accident left a wake of tragedy and blessings Grief and hardship is an area our family knows all too often. It’s our experiences that have inspired these services since as much of what we are offering where simply not available and would have help during our grieving time and afterwards… We have several different programs to attempt to help during these trying times. • Ministering- In the secular areas of what happens next – intervene in most steps and or processes that are associated directly with the loved one that has passed on. • Outreach ministry • Serving the grieved - food services • Counseling -services for grieving 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God"Our Statement?Compassion.
We tragically lost our son, Jacob, on May 4th, 2021.
With the right people in our lives ministering with compassion, we were able to focus on the Father and grieve in His presence and love, during tragic loss!! Countless men and women of faith poured into us and loved on us…. It’s the assembly of the saints that can move what we call mountains. It’s in these moments we were able to see Jacob as he truly was and what he was doing for the people around him. Our goal is to provide similar services that will meet the needs of families that are in these situations as well as to evangelize to the lost through outreach programs.
About our sonJacob Thomas Bain
Jacob Thomas Bain 21 of Dime Box, Texas was born May 16, 1999, in Katy, Texas to the parents of Travis and Scharolette Bain. Jacob was called to be with our Lord on the 4th of May 2021 at 8:15 AM.
Jacob was an outstanding technician for the family business, Swift Electric, and an avid cook/baker. He served people through his cooking especially, but most importantly, Jacob was a selfless caregiver especially to his younger siblings. He just adored each and every one. He sacrificed so much for us ... not Jesus, but he definitely lived like our Lord.
Jacob had many adventures in his lifetime made possible by our lifestyle of choosing to homeschool and living a bit reclusive. Jacob has lived in many places of which Alaska wasn’t his favorite place, to say the least. Jacob hated the cold and wasn’t shy about expressing this. Jacob had many challenges in life which he hit head-on without pause. You see, he had a bit of a stubborn streak and he would NEVER back down.
Appropriately Jacob’s theme song was "I Won’t Back Down."
He loved this song...
